The Waiting Game

Well... we are 9 days past the due date and still nothing new. We have scheduled to be induced on Monday, July 30th (which happens to be Brian's birthday). So we are praying that she would come before that. We had hoped not to be induced and hoped that she wouldn't come on Brian's birthday, so we continue to wait to see what will happen. Pray for us. CSU Staff Conference

For 10 days thousands of staff from around the world converged on our campus here at CSU for a time of worship, connecting with friends, and great teaching. Brian and I were so blessed by the teaching and felt as though the Lord really met us during the sessions we went to. As we have been in the midst of what feels like a long season of waiting for the baby to come, we were challenge to believe God, to seek Him humbly, and to trust Him with our lives fully. It was a much needed time for us... and a good distraction for us as we wait. We are so proud to be a part of this organization and think that God has even bigger things in store for us as we trust Him for the world. Pin It

My Pregnant Belly

Thought you might enjoy seeing a bit of the progression of my belly over the past 9 1/2 months... ENJOY! Pin It

The Baby's First Pics

This was her first picture taken on January 11, 2007. We were sure glad to see only one baby in there after the doctor had suggested we might be having twins! WHAT! It was a great day. The classic story about this picture is that when Brian was talking to his parents they were looking the picture when his dad said, "Oh Kathy! It's a boy! It's a boy!" To which Kathy replied, "No Bill... that it's leg." What a hoot!

This was the 20 week ultrasound when we found out the baby was a girl. A little bit of a shock, but very cool nonetheless. She was moving a ton and sucked on her fingers during the ultrasound. Pin It

Ready For The Kiddo To Come

Three days left until our due date and we have been flooded with a barage of questions about whether or not we are ready. The answer is most certainly YES! We are ready to meet this little one... to see what she looks like, to hold her little hands, to see if she has red hair or blue eyes, to just begin this next season of life.

It sure does feel like she will never come. I have been dilated to 1cm. for three weeks now, and I am beginning to think that she doesn't want to come into the "real world". It has been a long 9 1/2 months... that is for sure. I am still sick some mornings and ready to not be pregnant anymore. Eventhough what is in store is a lot of pain, not very much sleep, and a sore body, we are ready to get this thing moving. And so are the grandparents! Pin It
